John Lawrence Woodall began playing piano at age 5, started writing music and playing guitar by age 10, in his teens studying with Don Andrews and George Golla at The Academy of Guitar.
John was the Manager & an asst. engineer at The Record Plant in Sausalito with legendary producer/engineer Jim Gaines, working with such greats as Santana, Heart, Starship, Pablo Cruise, Maurice Starr, Dan Fogelberg, Journey, Huey Lewis, and John Fogerty.  In addition, John became a working musician in the Marin band Frontline, opening for the Little River Band, Kenny Loggins, Hall and Oates, Little Feat, Seals and Croft, Peter Frampton, Toy Matinee, Steppenwolf, Michael McDonald, and many more. 

John formed Powerof2 Music which has scored over 720 episodes of television, along with commercials, and interactive games, scored several Emmy award winning shows, winning awards for his work on children shows such as “Baru Bay” with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and the hit WorldWalker for Soleil.
